Francesca Mintowt-Czyz is a multifaceted professional in the performing arts industry, excelling as an actor, theatre arts educator, director, costume designer, and award-winning voiceover artist. She holds an MA in physical theatre and devising from the prestigious RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) and an MFA in Performing Arts from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design).

As an Assistant Professor of Voice and Movement at Weber State University, Mintowt-Czyz teaches clowning, IPA, musical theatre dance, auditioning, choreography, and professional development. She is currently earning her 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certification with Himalaya Yoga Valley.

Mintowt-Czyz's recent accomplishments include directing and choreographing the highly acclaimed production of 'Once' at the Savannah Repertory Theatre, as well as directing and starring in 'Mission Abort,' a one-woman production written by Therese Ramstedt, produced by Relative Theatrics.

​

She remains active as a performing artist on stage and on screen. The film "Isle of Hope" directed by Damián Romay was recently screened at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, and she will be joining the discussion panel for the award-winning film "Blackbird" directed by Morgan Davies at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. She is currently developing an original physical theatre piece entitled "Generally Speaking", which will premiere in spring of 2024.​

Mintowt-Czyz has consistently contributed to award-winning and nominated projects, including her involvement in 'Echoes and Vibrations,' a fashion documentary short that celebrates the life of Isabel Toledo (2022), 'Blackbird,' which received the esteemed London Independent Film Award (2022), and 'The People's Rock,' which was honored with The People's Choice Award at the Vaults Festival in London (2018).

In her leisure time, Francesca finds enjoyment in activities such as running, painting, Scrabble matches, and exploring her culinary skills.
