Working with Inspiring Drama this summer was an absolute blast! I had the privilege to work with an "inspiring" team consisting of new and resident members of the company teaching musical theatre to students visiting from China. Continuing my experience working with ESL students was incredibly beneficial, and I was able to utilize many skills I have developed this summer. Acting as a Director and Assistant Producer, it was my job to design and lead a week-long musical theatre workshop. Inspiring Drama is a company that has focused primarily on drama and filmmaking workshops in the past, so it was exciting to bring a new element of performance art to their repertoire.
