EXPERIENCE
Francesca Mintowt-Czyz embarked on her teaching career in 2010, initially collaborating with esteemed institutions such as the Laramie Young Actors Studio, led by John O'Hagan, and Dare2Dance, under the guidance of Wendy DeLa Harpe. Following the completion of her BFA in Theatre Performance, she ventured into the domain of Theatre in Education (TIE) performance, delivering high-quality productions to audiences who possess English as a second language. This involvement with White Horse Theatre and the American Drama Group in Europe fueled her dedication to educating young artists in the realm of theatre arts.
Since obtaining her MA degree from the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Mintowt-Czyz has contributed her expertise to various youth theatre programs across Italy, Greece, China, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Collaborating with prominent organizations such as Theatre Workout and Jigsaw Performing Arts, she has taught a wide range of disciplines including acting, stage makeup, dance (jazz, tap, ballet), devising, playwriting, Shakespeare, and Commedia dell'arte.
In the winter of 2021, Mintowt-Czyz assumed the role of Programming Director for the Front Porch Improv Youth Theatre camps while also serving as an instructor. These immersive week-long training programs provided students with comprehensive training in acting, singing, dancing, technical aspects such as lighting and sound operation, as well as the opportunity to create and produce their own short films.
As an educator, Mintowt-Czyz places utmost importance on fostering confidence in each individual and group she has the privilege to work with.
