Francesca Mintowt-Czyz is an actor, theatre arts educator, director, costume designer, and award-winning voiceover artist. She holds an MA in physical theatre and devising from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and is currently earning her MFA in performance at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). In addition to her two years as the Director of Theatre at Western Nebraska Community College, she has toured internationally and performed in original, award-winning musicals. She has performed, taught, and directed in the US, China, the UK, and across Europe.
This year Mintowt-Czyz played the featured role of Rhonda in the ABS film ‘My Good Mother’ playing opposite Mary Stuart Masterson and Sam Robards and you will catch her as the assistant of Dr. Elisio Alvarez, played by Jay Santiago, in the upcoming television series ‘Panhandle’. For the stage, she directed ‘Lungs’ by Duncan Macmillan, ‘Pochsy’s Lips’ by Karen Hines’, and William Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’.
Mintowt-Czyz is currently collaborating with playwright Therese Ramstedt on a digital theatre production of ‘Mission Abort’ and is thrilled to be part of the 2022 Savannah Voice Festival in their production of ‘Return to Brigadoon’, which runs August 16-18.
