Directing

I’m a collaborative and imaginative director who finds deep joy in building dynamic ensemble work through physical storytelling and creative exploration. My experiences as an artist have influenced my directing style; one that emphasizes play, presence, and purposeful movement. I’m most inspired when I can foster a space where artists feel safe to take risks, trust their instincts, and uncover something honest and alive in the moment.

Rehearsal, for me, is a fail-free zone. I strive to create an environment that is safe, playful, and rigorous, where actors can be vulnerable, curious, and bold. I balance structure with openness, giving space for the ensemble to explore while also guiding with clarity and intention. I’m energized by details: by breath, rhythm, spatial relationship, and the alchemy that happens when these elements align in service of the story.

I care deeply about the people I work with. Whether I’m directing, choreographing, or facilitating a workshop, my aim is always the same: to create meaningful, honest, and physically expressive work in a room where everyone feels seen and valued. The rehearsal space should be full of courage, laughter, and surprise. That’s where the magic happens.
